During the third year of my studies I had the opportunity to study under the wonderfully innovative Keith Gray, which allowed me to expand my knowledge and experience into Menswear design. I became so fascinated with the subtle details of menswear design that I quickly began to push the boundaries with silhouette going beyond what was considered 'traditional'. I continued my exploration into Menswear whilst studying at VIA Design in Denmark where I was taught how to manufacture tailored garments and given the training to strengthen my alteration skills. I believe that by gaining this experience in Denmark, where I was often required to teach myself via library books and online tutorials due to a language barrier, I acquired a variety of skills such as problem solving, self-determination, strong time-keeping and use of initiative.
